Welcome to The Cabby Crafter! I am so glad you stopped by.
Today is the big reveal of Ms. Lori Anderson's 6th Bead Soup Blog Party - the 3rd and last for this year.Whew! Have you seen the beautiful creations that the participants made?
This was my 2nd BSBP and I was paired with Ms. Sonya Stille. Read more about her HERE. The assortment of beads and findings that she sent me was delicious! I love the everything particularly the copper leaf that she made. I hardly word with copper, in fact, this was the most copper that I've worked with.
The BSBP guru, aka, Ms. Lori asked us to give a focal bead and a clasp. The copper leaf that Sonya did was gorgeous and I wanted it to be the centerpiece of this necklace! I used copper wire, hammered the end, added green beads and wrapped it with wire...lots of wire to make a bail!
This was an asymmetrical necklace that drapes very nicely on the neck.
I love the color palette - browns and greens, very earthy, "organic" as they call it.
This lariat necklace made use of the nuggets, crystals, copper chain and enameled round beads.
More wire wrapping but fun!
This was the pot of soup that Sonya sent me. Isn't it lovely? Visit Sonya's BLOG and see what she did to the bead soup that I sent her. Check out her Pinterest and FB page too.

You speak my bead language! This is absolutely lovely.
I just love what you did with the focal in the first necklace. The necklace itself is a real showstopper. The simpler necklace is also gorgeous and great to wear every day during the fall.
Love the leaf necklace!
i like the earthiness of your designs
What a fun bead soup you had to work with and I love what you did with it!
I loved seeing the before and after of Sonya's copper leaf. It was beautiful as is, but truly became part of the composition with your wire wrapping and bead work.
you had some yummy ingredients and sure made a yummy soup!
What a stunning copper focal! You did an awesome job with your beautiful bead soup...such beautiful creations!
Wow, your first necklace is just beautiful! Love how you added the eye pins with the green beads to make it so organic. The second one has such a great asymmetrical look, too!
The first necklace is just gorgeous! I love how you place the leaf and added the wire spirals and beads! And your second piece is lovely in it's simplicity.

Wow! The leaf necklace is stunning! You did a great job showcasing the leaf!
Both totally gorgeous pieces. I still have real trouble doing anything asymmetrical. I think this may have something to do with my control freak tendencies?! lol Beautiful work. I'm in love with the asymmetrical necklace. Lovely :)
Your first necklace is stunning!!! Your did an excellent job of showcasing the focal.A+
This is stunning- lovely, lovely, lovely Christie

That necklace is absolutely jaw-dropping! You did such a good job with that leaf. I would never have been able to do such a good job! You should be really proud.
Fantastic leaf in your soup and you did an awesome job with it. Love it.
Oh, I think this is my favorite piece of all the soups!! Just beautiful!!
Both of your necklaces are really lovely, but he one with the leaf really speaks to me. I'm in love with the way you embellished the handmade leaf with the beads as well as the asymmetrical design. It really works out so well. Wonderful, wonderful work!
Fantastic! So perfect for Autumn. Looks like you might be able to wear both of the together for that multi necklace look. Soup-er cool!
Gorgeous color pallet and soup you had to work with. The leaf necklace is so lovely and perfect for the upcoming fall season.
Wow, that is a stunning necklace!!!
Wow, that necklace is gorgeous with the big copper leaf. I love it. Great job!
I absolutely adore your necklace. Funnily enough I had just taken a class on fold-forming and made a leaf just like that and was wondering how to use it to make a necklace/pendant. Unfortunately mine is enameled and doesn't have a hole drilled in the end to attach it both places. But you did a fantastic job with that focal and your necklace. Love the colors. You really brought it all to life.
your necklace is so very beautiful. love the design!
Love what you did with the leaf focal!
This would be a challenging color pallet for me, but I love what you did with it. The leaf on the first necklace is beautiful. I love how it hangs. The second necklace is also very lovely. Great work!
I believe sometime our hands can really make great job rather machines. I loved your above work with beads and a beautiful metal leaf.
