[Focus on Life Week 11] The Possibilities are Endless

It's week 11 in Ms. Sally Russick's Focus on Life:  The Possibilities are Endless.
When it comes to paper quilling - the art of twirling paper - the possibilities are endless! 
Paper Quilling
 I love how colorful these papers are.  You don't need a lot of tools for this craft: - just a needle tool and glue.  You can used a needle tool or a slotted tool or even a barbecue stick.  I make the basic shapes while watching tv or when I feel like I need to relax... oh yeah, it soothes me.

It'll be officially Spring in a few days so here's a bunch of flowers for you!

    Oh wow .. I've seen quilled art at various shows and I am always in awe of it. Your flowers are gorgeous and I really love that first photo.

    I love the pictures, you can see how something so simple can become so beautiful. I think taking it to the couch is a great strategy for thaking hte edge off.

    I love both your photos here. Really nicely done.
    I was struck by you saying you find it soothing. It's funny- when I've looked at quilling before I've thought, "that's beautiful, and I'd kill myself if I actually created enough components to make a picture." Isn't it amazing how different we all are? I would get so tense if I sat and twirled paper! But you made something beautiful with it.

    Paper quilling is something I have not done in a very long time. I do agree the possiblities are endless and those flowers are beautiful.

    Oh my goodness!!! those are such pretty colors! I want to do quilling, but there never seems to be enough time to learn or to just sit and do it right now....Great job!

    The first picture is amazing! I have seen them in craft stores and been attracted to the lovely colors. Your finished flowers are very cheerful.

    Yes, those long strips of paper hold endless possibilities. I have tried quilling and am terrible at it! Your flowers are so bright and cheerful and make me think I should try it again!

    I love this colorful photo! And the possibilities are indeed endless here with colors and shapes. I used to do quilling when I was in my teens and loved it! There's something about rolling that thin paper into something beautiful.
