Oh wow .. I've seen quilled art at various shows and I am always in awe of it. Your flowers are gorgeous and I really love that first photo.
ReplyDeleteI love these colorful flowers :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you chose this of all the possibilities you had!
I love the pictures, you can see how something so simple can become so beautiful. I think taking it to the couch is a great strategy for thaking hte edge off.
ReplyDeleteNo Way!?! Get out! These are so cool - I love them!! Endlesss possibilities for sure!
ReplyDeleteI love both your photos here. Really nicely done.
ReplyDeleteI was struck by you saying you find it soothing. It's funny- when I've looked at quilling before I've thought, "that's beautiful, and I'd kill myself if I actually created enough components to make a picture." Isn't it amazing how different we all are? I would get so tense if I sat and twirled paper! But you made something beautiful with it.
just beautiful, uplifting images! i love the effect of quilling, it always makes me smile :)
ReplyDeleteI have never tried paper quilling. Your flowers are so very beautiful. Thank you for the splash of color.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! What your flowers become also holds possibilities...a card, a wall hanging...wonderful post!
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle,
ReplyDeletePaper quilling is something I have not done in a very long time. I do agree the possiblities are endless and those flowers are beautiful.
Therese
Your flowers are sweet, but the photo I like the best is the rainbow colored papers waiting to be rolled! Delicious.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!!! those are such pretty colors! I want to do quilling, but there never seems to be enough time to learn or to just sit and do it right now....Great job!
ReplyDeleteThe first picture is amazing! I have seen them in craft stores and been attracted to the lovely colors. Your finished flowers are very cheerful.
ReplyDeleteI too love that first photo! Imagining the possibilities.... Reminded me of when I did quilling for a couple of wedding announcement gifts.
ReplyDeleteYes, those long strips of paper hold endless possibilities. I have tried quilling and am terrible at it! Your flowers are so bright and cheerful and make me think I should try it again!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! We are all passionate about our art, and it's been so fun to see all the possibilities out there :-)
ReplyDeleteI love this colorful photo! And the possibilities are indeed endless here with colors and shapes. I used to do quilling when I was in my teens and loved it! There's something about rolling that thin paper into something beautiful.
ReplyDeleteJust love your paper posies. What a great tribute to Spring and its possibilities. Love the pic of the pre-quilled paper.
ReplyDeleteSweet! Working with all those colors must be great fun!
